SHARP Life & Learning Skills Founder Julie Pullen
I would like to introduce you to a remarkable lady, Julie Pullen, the Founder and Managing Director of SHARP.
Julie and her amazing team, run the SHARP Life & Learning Skills Centre, an education and day service for vulnerable adults with special needs, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, mental health issues, elderly or just lonely, to continue their learning and personal development.
Education and Day Service for Vulnerable Adults
Julie does this because she loves them, understands their challenges and wants to make their lives enriched and happy.
Financial Support
You would think centres like SHARP would be able to access ample funding, but the reality is that Julie has to rely on second-hand furniture & donations just to furnish her premises. To buy other key equipment for her centre she needs to raise even more money. Hence, we are asking for small donations which together will make big differences to both Julie & the lovely people she supports.
Quest Fundraiser for Key Items
We are aiming to raise £1500.00 towards purchasing some key items: a table tennis table, computers, kitchen equipment and hopefully more. Items that will immediately make a real difference to the SHARP Centre to better enrich their lives!
SHARP is a community interest company – a non-profit making organisation, so any profit is put back into the organisation to grow and improve the service. It is an education and day service which provides opportunities for +75 people with special needs, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, mental health issues, elderly or just lonely, to continue their learning and personal development in a safe and happy environment.
