The Copy Typing Test Secretarial Role is a 5 minute online touch typing test. It measures the candidate's ability to enter text accurately from a script on the screen.
We have the SHL basic and advanced copy typing available as well as industry specific legal and medical copy typing tests. On receipt of your order we will contact you to discuss the best option for your needs. The screen for the test is split into two, the top half contains the script to be copied and the bottom half the area to type.

Copy Typing Test Secretarial Role
This SHL assessment is timed and designed to measure speed and accuracy in typing. This assessment allows 5 minutes to type passages into a simulated word processing document.
- Split Screen Test – This test measures speed and accuracy in typing text presented on the computer screen. In this assessment, the text original is displayed directly above the area in which the test taker must enter the response. The test taker will not need a printed original for the evaluation.
- Printed Text Test – This test measures speed and accuracy in typing text. Test takers will need a printed text original for this type of evaluation.
